Workshop Content: OFCCO Guam Field Office is providing federal contractors and small business owners / operators the opportunity to attend a compliance assistance event that offers a basic understanding of the compliance evaluation process. This event should help federal contractors determine what additional preparations they may need to undertake to prepare for a scheduled compliance evaluation. This presentation will introduce you to the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) and provide an overview of the Executive Order and two statutes OFCCP enforces for covered federal contractors. An overview of the scheduling process for supply and service compliance evaluations, including what a contractor needs to do when they receive a scheduling letter will be provided and the different stages of a supply and service compliance evaluation, including the elements of the desk audit and the onsite review, and some of the common problem areas OFCCP sees during compliance evaluations, will be discussed. The compliance assistance event should generally help federal contractors build their knowledge about compliance, as well as support contractor long-term voluntary compliance and potentially reduce the cost of compliance. Participants should be Presidents, VPs, CEO/COO’s, Owners, HR Directors/Managers and other employees who having day-to-day responsibility for implementing or overseeing contractor compliance with equal employment opportunity and affirmative action programs (EEO/AA).
