Workshop Content: This clinic provides an introduction to OFCCP and Affirmative Action. It includes OFCCP’S mission, the laws we enforce, which employers are covered, which employees and applicants are covered, and how we ensure that those employers who are covered comply with the regulatory requirements. The presentation is directed at employers who are considering entering into federal contracting. It may be your first exposure to the agency and the requirements that come with receiving federal contract and subcontract dollars. For those employers who are established (new or otherwise) federal contractors serving as either a prime or sub-contractor, this presentation will serve as a review of OFCCP’s mission, affirmative action, laws, priorities and evaluation & complaint process.
